Snatch

Mean while back at home, yet another film is in the CAN … (oh yes Hollywood taught me a lot). Directed and written by Guy Ritchie, Snatch is one of those diamond films I had fun working on. Jason Flemyng and Jason Statham who I had the crack with filming LS2SB is onboard with a host of other great actors.

From Eastenders fame, although some will remember him from the cult kids program 'Run-a-round' Mike Reid. He plays 'Doug the head' a Jewish diamond dealer. Brad Pitt plays a bear-knuckle-fighting Irish gypsy called Mickey. The Plot: Bare knuckle boxing promotor Turkish, has to deal with a particularly nasty promotor - Brick Top. Who - incedently owns a pig farm (all will be revealed in the film). Turkish is more than a little unsure about doing business with Brick Top, but does. Things start out bad, and go rapidly downhill. However, this, like many of Guy Ritchie's films, is just one part of many that starts off, meets in the middle, and continues... Also - is the diamond 86 or 84 carot?
