My career has always been involved around; what the papers say and the odd televised game of football on the box. I may now be more well known for my ever growing number of film appearances, than for my footballing exploits. But I am definitely better known for film appearances than my television appearances. This section covers my television appearance from talk shows to this is your life.

Sean's Show
My first taste of what is would be like to be in front of the camera on a regular TV show, rather than on 'Match of the Day', was on 'Sean's Show' in 1993. I played myself in an episode called 'Great Socks' so a big thanks to Sean Hughes, maybe he 'discovered' the actor Vinnie Jones.

The Mrs. Merton Show
Four years later I appeared on 'The Mrs. Merton Show'. I think that Caroline Aherne is one of the funniest ladies around, and was more than happy to appear beside her in the guise of 'Mrs. Merton'. She has gone from strength to strength with 'Mrs. Merton' and 'The Royle Family', and wish her every success in the future.

Celebrity Ready Steady Cook
There is not much call for the ability to cook in LA. However I had a go before I got there, when I appeared on 'Celebrity Ready Steady Cook' in 1998. Armed with a few glasses of BBC wine I walked out onto the set with my little carry bag of goodies. I was up against Olympic swimmer Sharon Davis, Fern Britton had to try and keep the whole thing under control. I can remember having a right laugh, but can't remember if it was a red pepper day or a green pepper day. Oh well I was fed and water ...

Vinnie Goes To Hollywood
A short trailer from the BBC1 programme aired on 12th July 2000. Focusing on my time spent in L.A filming Gone in Sixty Seconds. A behind the scenes look at life on and of the set, relaxing with my family, friends and other recreational pastimes of mine. Guy Ritchie said, ... "The thing is if there was a holocaust there would be several things that would survive ... Vinnie Jones being one of them".

This is Your Life
This is your life makes you feel many things. Chuffed, proud, extremely happy and sometimes a little sad. But, with Tanya sitting beside me, my overall feeling was a sense of real satisfaction. I've always said I've worked bloody hard for what I've achieved, and when so many people take so much trouble to pay tribute to you, I think you are entitled to believe that your efforts have been well and truly justified.

Adverts

We all have to make a few quid here and there, so these nice people asked me if I would help them promote their stuff... so I did

Fila Campaign
Fila Watches have recently signed Mr. Vinnie Jones to be their celebrity endorsee for the next two years. Vinnie will be appearing in a brand new advertising campaign that goes live at the end of November in the lifestyle magazines. Capturing Vinnie is a fantastic coup for Fila, particularly as his movie career is about to go ballistic with the December release of the film 'The Mean Machine' and with it, Vinnie's first lead role. It has already had fantastic reviews from its early screenings and will be released across the UK on 450 cinemas. (Snatch started on 320 screens.)

To launch the signing of Vinnie and the new watch range from Fila, we have produced a film entitled 'The Wind-Up'. Starring Vinnie Jones, the film reflects the Fila advertising strapline 'Is your ticker up to it?' in a slapstick, East-end gangster, Lock Stock-style rendition.
The film was used as the basis of the launch party?our very own film premiere, that was shown at the salubrious Electric Film Theatre on Portobello Road in Notting Hill. Complete with red carpet and paparazzi, Vinnie attended the premiere with a host of his celebrity friends from the worlds of film, music and sport.
So, 'Is your ticker up to it?'

Bacardi Advert
I have just finished a little trip to New York, where I stumbled across a party, after my car was destroyed by a giant ice cube. Oh by the way, it was not real, just another ad I was asked to do.

First Sport Advert
First is everything thing second is nowhere. This advert was done not so long after the success I had in LS&2SB's and was aired nationally.

Mercury One 2 One Advert #1
I've made two of these adverts for Mercury one2one. This being the first features the talents of my Wife Tanya, son Arron, Great Aunt who I think is a natural, my manager Peter Burrell, Frankie Dettori, Joe Kinnear and a couple of my close friends. I've been told, ... "Communication is a great form of relaxation so pick up your phone and call One 2 One".

Mercury One 2 One Advert #2
The second Mercury one2one advert like the first features close people to me. The ad campaign adapted by Mercury is a good one. The natural appearance of my family and friends in front of the cameras, which is not an easy thing to do for most of us, comes across well.
